It would be nice if the city did something about these bad corners. Instead they put speed bumps, slow/quiet zone signs in the tourist districts and down where the mansions are like over by Ropes. Taking care of the rich and tourists first.

The speed humps do nothing. In the 90s Salem did fantastic with traffic enforcement and people were driving slower with no speed humps and speed limits were higher. Not putting up pylons and signs that say traffic enforcement. I can literally drive down Highland ave and haven’t seen any enforcement in probably a year.

I know from watching that the people that say no speed bumps are the ones speeding down the streets willing to kill anyone that gets in their way. They deffinately dont have kids.

I have a child I do speed and never ever had any type if traffic violations. So don’t assume please.

I don't think the city will take care of this. To busy with the tourist trap areas

They are too busy trying to control everything and getting people in the community to do it for them. They are getting you to agree with their car light traffic projects eventually you will not be able to drive in Salem and you will be forced to use the failed transportation system or ride your bike when its 4 degrees out. If people doubt what I am saying I said the stuff you are complaining about 20 years ago would happen…
