Description
Fire lane marker issue not clear, a large black Nissan Armada parks there between 3pm and 4pm. Creating a hazard situation . The vehicle parks next to the Metal Guardrail. Can you please put a no parking sign on the guard rail and correct the arrow both ways. I spoke with a traffic engineer before placing this correction request.

Good afternoon,
An investigation has been completed and it was determined that no parking fire lane sign is not required to be installed in front of guardrail because it is cover by Howard County Transportation Law. According to Howard County Municipal Code Title 21 Section 221,"In front of or within five feet of a public driveway, or within a private driveway".
I encourage you and other residents to contact the Howard County Police to request enforcement. The request can be made through the HCPD non-emergency number, (410) 313-2929. HCPD is accepting the reporting of non-emergency traffic complaints via online reporting at the following link: https://www.howardcountymd.gov/police/report-traffic-complaints. Complaints are being accepted in three categories, Isolated Traffic Incidents, Recurring Traffic Incidents, and Parking Complaints. The internet portal is what is used by HCPD to determine and schedule enforcement.
Thank you for contacting our office with your concern. I apologize our office is unable to assist you further with your request.
