Description
This signal often skips over cars waiting to cross Broken Land Pkwy from the DMV/EXXON side of Stevens Forest Road. It happens most often in the evening. It has happened to me many times in the last few years. It seems that if a car is on the opposite side of Stevens Forest Rd first, the light will skip over me and you have to wait through a full cycle before the light will change. Can this be fixed? Please!

The Red Light Camera Program is administered by the Police Department (not Traffic Engineering). I'll go ahead and forward the comments regarding the "rogue" camera flashes to their office, but if you want to follow up on the matter, you will need to do so directly with them via the points of contact listed at: https://www.howardcountymd.gov/Departments/Police/Traffic-Safety/Red-Light-Camera-Program.
In the meantime, this issue will remain open to track the original matter regarding the traffic signals.

Thanks for reporting the rogue flashing camera to the police department. I drove westbound through the intersection of Broken Land Parkway and Stevens Forest Road yesterday around 1:45. The light was green and the camera flashed several times as I passed through heading toward Route 29. I was not aware of any violations by other vehicles. This rogue flashing has been going on for a long time.
