The mowing crew that services Marshalee Drive at Gardenview Drive does not appear to be edging properly. They drop the mowing deck to its lowest level and ride the sidewalk basically scalping the edges of the sidewalk . This does not stop grass from growing out onto the sidewalk. This has been the case for a number of years and last year a neighbor finally had enough and called the county to report it, and the crew finally came and edged properly removing at least six inches of growth on each side of the sidewalk. It seems we are headed in that same direction if this is not addressed.

Please have somebody come out and inspect this to ensure the county is receiving the services they are paying for and that the sidewalks remain clear. Proper edging should be done with each mowing. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

County tree has been undercut by stream and leaning towards private property. This was discussed with Sean Poholsky a few years back and he asked that we monitor it. It has been leaning more recently and needs to be inspected and/or removed before it falls and damages property.

Tree planting during development along Marshalee Drive included blue tubes/screens to protect the growth of new trees. Years have passed, trees have grown and tubes/screens (seemingly not biodegradable) remain in disrepair. Can a crew please be sent to remove all these remaining tree protectors? It just looks bad. Thanks

Algae buildup - After any precipitation, the sidewalk on the north/west side of Marshallee Drive just south/west of the Marshallee and Old Montgomery Road intersection (the entire 100 yards or so) becomes very slippery. On dry days, it is not an issue, but when any wetness remains, this gets very slippery. This is at the bottom of a grassy hill, so there is consistent runoff after rains which can last for days. Please apply an algaecide or address runoff to allow for safe passage. Thank you.
