Residents of Sunset Road, Riverway, Rosedale and possibly some of Riverbank Road hope that the Mayor's office together with the Salem DPW can urge National Grid to act. As of 12:47 am 10/31/17 National Grid reported "No crew assigned." The company also understates the number of customers affected. Five poles are down, two or three transformers are down, and wires are on lawns and streets. The Salem DPW & private contractors largely addressed the crucial tree work yesterday. National Grid should have developed a plan by now but that has not happened.
