Pothole Archived12638 82 Ave Surrey, BC V3W 3G1, Canada - SurreyMASSIVE pothole! This is the second time that my tire has gotten flattened in this exact spot! They keep putting patches in it but it is a truck route and there's been a lot of construction in the area that it keeps getting torn up! I'm so tired of having to get my tire replaced!! It's costing me a ton of money just to keep fixing it! Even driving slow at night you can't see where they are until it's too late! Someone needs to get back to me about this because I am not paying to get my tire fixed AGAIN out of my own pocket!! I pay my taxes to have the roads maintained so when the city can't even be bothered to spend the money to make sure they are makes me angry.

Roadside Dumping Archived8168-8172 120a Street Surrey, BC V3W 3P2, Canada - SurreyOn 120a st and 82 ave there is a donation box that people have been dumping at. Some of it is clothes some of it is just junk. I don't know if someone is going in there and picking thru it or what but it is a huge mess quite frequently. It is right out front of my building and makes the area look trashy. Because this box is not on a main street and has less traffic people assume that they can just dump whatever garbage they want. I hate seeing this every day and i'm sick of feeling like i live in a ghetto neighbourhood. This is now the second time the city will have had to have someone come by and clean up the mess. Please have someone come and clean up the area and hopefully we can get this box relocated to a better area, or else the city is going yo constantly have to keep coming back to maintain it. Even though it does say $2000 fine for dumping, that does not discourage people.

Road Surface Issue Acknowledged12604-12652 82 Avenue Surrey, BC V3W 3G2, Canada - SurreyWhile coming home tonight i drove over a massive pothole. It is on 82 avenue, west of the BC Hydro Construction yard entrance. As there is a small median there, one is unable to drive around it. There is no paved shoulder to pass, so there is no choice but to drive over it. No matter how slowly i drive it still damages my tire. This time it punctured a hole in it. As my house is only a few blocks away from there, i made it home alright. When i came to my car a short time later, i discovered that my tire was completely flat and had to put my spare tire on. This made me very angry as this is a brand new set of tires. I now have to go and get my tire fixed properly, money that i cannot afford to spend right now. While doing so, my neighbour drove by and asked what had happened and i told her it was from a pothole. She then proceeded to warn me about one she had just ran over, the very pothole that puctured my tire. This pothole has not been fixed properly in a long time, only patch work has ever been done. Since i occasionally work with the crew that does this road maintenance, i know for a fact that patch work (cold patch) is only a temporary quick fix, it does not last. Considering that right by where this pothole is i know that there is a trucking yard where huge trucks drive in and out of all day. This would attribute to the bad road conditions in this area.
