Loud modified mufflers and audio speakers on Elgin Street often interfere with sleep at night (my car alarm was set off at 1.30am last night, for example). Is there any possibility of a quite zone sign during night time [at least]? (I know that enforceability is an issue, but let's do something, please)

  • 2700 Albany St Houston, TX, 77006, USA - Midtown
We have concerns about the construction across the street at 2727 Albany street. The environmental effects is of great concern for the neighborhood. Dry brushing of cement dust is being swept into the drainage system this will create water pollution and future flooding. Air pollution from the heavy equipment and the silica exposure that the public is being exposed to is of great concern. EPA and OSHA are representing the employees but who is representing the community? We are being exposed daily to harmful emissions of diesel, silica dust and other harmful substances from the Morgan group yet no public awareness has been implemented. There needs to be air quality monitoring of the area directly affected. Drew, Dennis, Albany and Helena street residents are in danger. Please help!

They put this grass a couple of weeks to months ago, and now they are removing again. I have seen this over and over. There seems to be a big gap in clear path forward on this project going on in Caroline Street. Please follow up with responsible people.
  • 2919 Crawford St Houston, TX, 77004, USA - Midtown

This area of midtown is mostly neighborhood in the day and entirely in the evening. Has been low traffic for almost 20 years. The consequence of this is there are no street renovations to prepare for mixed use parking for business flow control during the day and after hours. This means no parking meters, tow zones, or absence of no-parking signs. In addition, this would displace neighbors who park outside that are not yet apart of the midtown parking initiatives on record.

Request assessment of area for Midtown Improvement initiatives that involve parking control, street flow renovations/repairs, street cleanup, and increased police monitoring for bar areas.

This vehicle has been parked in this location for two months. It belongs Unlimited Auto Service. This is one of many in the four block area and the business is literally using the public streets as a storage yard. This is an ongoing issue that needs resolution.

People are now staying in this building. They have made a hole in the wall and get in through there. There is also a lot of dumped garbage collecting.

These electrical wires have been this way for almost 2 years and nobody in the management district has done anything about. This has been neglected for so long that Google Maps shows it.
