What, you don’t think that big white truck parked on the front lawn is an attractive look for the neighborhood? Just kidding! This is continuous on Crestview Drive and Gedulding Street. Pictures are sent, locations are posted so it is unfathomable why the Bridgeport Police Department does not come out and ticket and tow these cars -unless the mayors office is getting payola from Sacred Heart University. That has to be the only explanation. If a Bridgeport taxpayer did this, they’d be ticketed and towed in a heartbeat! Sacred Heart is a cancer on north end of Bridgeport residents. Speeding, drag racing, loud, continuous parties, dumping their garbage everywhere, illegal parking, illegal overcrowding of rental homes/apartments with more than four unrelated students occupying them, etc. The list goes on and on. They should’ve stayed in Fairfield. They have at least six or seven buildings already in Bridgeport – enough!
They don’t drive around here till later in the afternoon when all the students are off in classes or on the weekends when they’re all over the lawns
My street also is a dead end and they parked the wrong way and I got a ticket for doing it just moving my car
Huge party house on Folino I reported to the Dean of students
Why is this being allowed then you wonder why no families want to move here?
Dean of students at Sacred Heart and the head of security at Sacred Heart don’t care. As long as they get their tuition money, they don’t care what they inflict on the north end of Bridgeport.
The team of students retired and there’s a new woman now and supposedly he forwarded an email. I sent him to the new dean of students and I emailed the new Dean of students and she has not replied back to me yet regarding the house on Folino.
They were cars lined down the entire street from Eckart to Old Town Rd
You could barely get through kids walking with alcohol in their hands, big milk, jugs, and then add to the fact that Ubers and lifts were dropping kids off and just stopping in the middle of the road but this is OK and we pay the taxes
Thank you for reporting the issue to the City of Bridgeport. Please know that the information regarding parking of the lawn was emailed to the city's Zoning Department to follow up on the violation.
We have seen cars parked on Eckert from Park Avenue all the way back to Madison Avenue every time there was is party at the ten story abomination of a dorm on Park Avenue that should’ve never been built , but was built under the Ganium administration-the one before prison. You can see that abomination for miles. It should never been allowed to be built and they always jam up Eckert every time they have a party there. And do you think Fairfield would allowed have allowed a ten story abomination like that to be built on Fairfield property for Sacred Heart? No way! Sacred Heart has dumped on the north end of Bridgeport and its tax paying residents for more years than we can count!
