Observation:
On 4/3/24, an investigation was conducted near 8431 Dairy View Lane, regarding a requestor?s concern that ?a pedestrian crossing sign is missing from a pole?. This is a commercial area located near a school zone for Youngblood Intermediate School (8410 Dairy View). Beechnut Street runs east/west, has asphalt curbs, gutters, and sidewalks. It accommodates seven lanes of traffic that travel accordingly, separated by concrete medians. Dairy View it's into Beechnut, runs north/south, has asphalt curbs, gutters, and sidewalks. It accommodates two lanes of traffic that travel accordingly, controlled by stop signs. The investigation revealed that a school advance sign was missing for southbound traffic on Dairy View. Only the ahead plate was present on the pole.

Recommendation:
A maintenance request will be submitted to Sign Maintenance to replace the missing the missing school advance sign.
