Flexible bollards should be added to the buffer lane because vehicles are often parking in the bike lane or in the buffer. The city can easily prevent vehicles from parking too far from the right by adding some flexible bollards in the buffer. Why doesn't it do this?? On page 87 of the NATCO design guide it recommends the following: "While not a barrier type on its own, parked cars can provide an additional
level of protection and comfort for bicyclists. A minimum buffer width of
