We have concerns about the construction across the street at 2727 Albany street. The environmental effects is of great concern for the neighborhood. Dry brushing of cement dust is being swept into the drainage system this will create water pollution and future flooding. Air pollution from the heavy equipment and the silica exposure that the public is being exposed to is of great concern. EPA and OSHA are representing the employees but who is representing the community? We are being exposed daily to harmful emissions of diesel, silica dust and other harmful substances from the Morgan group yet no public awareness has been implemented. There needs to be air quality monitoring of the area directly affected. Drew, Dennis, Albany and Helena street residents are in danger. Please help!

The bike lane at waugh and west Dallas heading south is blocked completely by unnecessary extra space being fenced off by the construction company. This is extremely dangerous for people on bikes who will be forced into traffic.

Water has been free-flowing from a pipe located in the grass near the corner. It has been flowing for at least a month, and I have never seen anyone from the city coming to investigate or work on it.

This has been fully flowing since I walked to the bus this morning at 7:30 AM. It seems to be coming from up under the concrete sidewalk. I walked past it just now at 6:30 PM and it’s still flowing at full force.

there is raw sewage, ie feces, coming up from the drain in magic cauldrons parking lot. the city has been called multiple times this year and multiple times over the last 10 years. instead of making the owner fix the problem, the city of houston shows up a few times a week to pump out the sewage. this is a serious threat to public health. do you know how scientist monitor coronavirus? by testing raw sewage. so is it not logical to conclude that this sewage can possible infect all the customers who walk and park in this section of parking lot? not only that, there are 4 businesses on this block and people who walk through that sewage not realizing what it is can possibly track and expose everyone in each business they stop at and this is a busy little shopping center. if the city of houston really cares about slowing the spread of coronavirus, stop blowing off this issue. put your money where your mouth is and hold the owner accountable! this is disgusting and a threat to public health! 10 years is too long to ignore this issue. especially now that there is a pandemic that is still raging. your lack of concern is atrocious. how many people will be impacted by the owners lack of concern and profit driven ambivalence towards this issue? oh i can only imagine. fix this!

6:34 pm June 19, 2023. White Toyota Highlander again blocking the sidewalk. This is a daily occurrence, and it is so disruptive to our neighbors with disabilities. I hate to complain multiple times, but it has been going on for years and it is just so inconsiderate. They have a fully empty driveway to park in!

This bus stop (just a bench), occasionally has individuals (residing at the adjacent apartment complex at 1901 Richmond Ave), harrass/intimidate the bus' patrons as they are getting on/off the Metro bus. Can Metro build a shelter, at least, which may alleviate the possibility of harrassment from these individuals.
